it's nice to have someone post actual pics of realtime boneyards. it's a shame when postings won't tell you where the yards located / contact info. these old boys are trying to make a buck, and i like to spread the word to fellow hambers looking for tin to save. i say if a guys got the stones to drive to the middle of east b*&^%fu@@ to buy a project, more power to 'em.
I would be taking that 37, and the 38 front of the Tudor, and the T and the....... You knowwhat? This list could get long! Doc.
I always loved these old Nashs' Grandparents had one when I was a niblet, I always thought the fully reclining front seats were funny... much later I learned what they could be used for, by then alas, the Nash was gone. Remember when Nash's were everywhere and they were all peach with teal & pink graphics, nice to see some escaped the '80s. Does that sign mean no "tin hunting" too? Thanks for the eyeful <O
Contact details can be found on this web page that I did for Geordie... http://www.northwestcoin.ca/gvcars.html You're Canadian and you've NEVER heard of Fargo? Wow! Kinda like Mercury trucks...they are a Canadian only brand.
What is that 3rd car over, top right corner, of first page? Man, that thing is huge looking. There was another thread the other day with a yard full of old cars well. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=386069 ...And it is from Canada too. There is also a link on the 1st page that takes you directly to the yards website. I thought Texas, Arizona, southern California, and Mexico had all the stashed cars. But it seems like Canada has thier fair share of stash too...I would be happy just to walk these yards all day and take pictures, let alone leave with a few cars/pieces...
