I know it's just barely Friday, but I'm awake and bored. Anyhoooooo.....

Here's some stuff I've been working on. The first one, I like, but the lighting on the car doesn't match the background. The second one matches, but it's not as dynamic. Oh well. I'll get it figured out. The car is the main focus anyway. The third one is in progress. Should have it finished some time in the next 12 hours or so. Let's get this ball rollin'!!

    GaryC.

    Twisted tradition.
Start with a very traditional rod body.
In this case a 32 Ford roadster. Slice, dice and mince it.
    Add a transverse, mid-engine V8, a bubble top and
    a crazy paint job.

    Somewhere between Roth and a formula car;
I give you the Transverse Rod!

  8. Ed...wow....once again...amazing work....

Gary C...as always, your work is amazing....

57 Bob, really nice work, despite you using the word R*T ROD

Nothing from me this week, I've had a shitty couple of days, and ended up having to put my kitty Jesse James down this afternoon.

  12. Suit from over at HAMBKU writes bitchin' poems. I asked to chuck one on this week's show with an appropriate visual support. Here goes-

    It's a universal chowder
    of metal and skin
    it all gets absorbed
    And spit out again

    Poor old Chevy
    Left in a marsh
    Your road was weathered
    Your road was harsh

    Poor Mister Porter
    left in a home
    they all moved away
    and now he's alone

The two of you will pass
    and be covered in dirt
    then you'll break down
    Mister Porter will finish first

Then someone will plant a garden
    Or drinking water will flow
    You've been long gone
    so they'll never know

    that they're eating a dashboard
    or drinking a foot
    Mister Porter is delicious
    He's much better cooked..

    Hubcaps become tomatoes
    tomatoes become cars
    Cars become pickles
and are kept in some jars

    Suit

Ed, Meteor, Gary, Tbones, Bob and everyone else, AMAZING. Ed, your work never ceases to drop my jaw onto my keyboard.

  18. Been so bust with work I hardly get to draw my own stuff, let alone post any. So, throwing caution to the wind, I decided to do a quicky...
    I took this:

And give it some color. This may end up being a concept sketch for a truck I hope
to 'pick up' (sorry) in the near future. Hopefully the real one wont be all bent and distorted tho...
