Looking for clubs in Pa... anyone know of any???? If not Jersey Maryland and the Pa boys lets get one started.......
I'm pretty sure that PA is one of the more club friendly/saturated states in the country... lots of car hobbiest's here.
Looking for like minded guys to hang out with.... I'm surrounded by Larry the Cable Guy Clones its awful .....
theres a car show at Boscov's in the colonial park mall tomorrow 10-3.. if the weathers nice should be a bunch of guys there hanging around.... im thinking we might run over for a bit but not 100% sure also the first saturday of each month is a cruise in at the Soda Jerk restaurant in Hummelstown neither is too terribly far from newville but im sure theres more stuff closer to you good luck Zach
Lets start one. I am tired of being surrounded by the 60s/70s muscle car crowd. Car shows are being taken over by the Barrett Jackson mentality. Rich dudes whith money, who just dump money into a car and think they're George Barris.
Guys,I'm lookin to expand my club.We are based in NJ,but would like to go national. We are just a t-shirt and plaque club.Nothing formal.Let me know if interested. Thanks
Hey Evol55 My favorite thing here thing a Larry clone has said to me......" I love classic cars too man" I said "really what do you have " he smiled with his one tooth and said "78 Camaro....I don't say a word.......
Lots of car clubs in Pa. There are a few types..you'll need to figure out what you are in to 1. Drive Whatever-open to guys who like cars regardless of the year or make. You can get in these clubs by calling the president or meeting up with guys already in the club to find out when the next meeting is. All you have to do is express interest and you are in the club. One a month meetings where no one really shows up, holiday party, T shirts, maybe a club cruise somewhere. 2. Drive a specific model car..i.e. corvette, Amx, jeep - You just have to drive a specific brand/model car..but everything else above applies. 3. Hot Rod Club- The club agrees on a certain year cutoff for members' cars. Membership is by invitation only, meaning that someone in the club must know you well enough to make sure you, your tastes, and your car or cars would be a good fit for the club. These types of organizations usually take pride in the quality of vehichles and the amount of craftmenship which is possesed by club members, another reason for selective membership. Once a month meetings, bbq's, holiday parties, road trips in club cars to outings, attendance at several shows as a club, and perhaps a large show which the club themselves hosts. These organizations usually also require members to return club jackets or T shirts if they leave the club.
I am down in Abbottstown , in between York & Gettysburg and North of Hanover . The only one's I know of here is Hanover Street Rods & So-What which is kinda private , must be invited in club . Let me know if anyone is down my way . I am working on a 55 Ford right now and have a 37 Ply pick-up I home to start next winter .
Hey Go2hells, I think I saw your 50 ford or one similar parked on main street Shippensburg about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
That was me........ by the tattoo shop???? or the pub????? those would be my favorite 2 places........
A newly formed car club from Western Pa and Western MD---the REDLINERS. Limited to pre 65 Traditional and Customs. Invitation only. Limited to 12 members. Website coming soon.
Check us out at the Jalopy Showdown Drags, first weekend in October... Our Chapter has a few members in Central PA and some from South Jersey. Just look for the giant army tent with a bunch of drunks sitting around it, or on the track Saturday.
