My new wheels and tires

    I swapped out wheels and tires on my '61. Went from 13" spokes to these 15" ET's with Coker Redlines.

    Those look great, it's cool that the redlines match the red trim on the car too...

    WAAAAAYYYYYYY better with the new wheels!!!

    The 13" wires looked ridiculous on the car, quite frankly!

  17. Right out of the 60s!!! The way it should be!!! Damn nice looking 61, not too radical, just right!! I have a set of full polished Torq Thrusts with blackwalls going on my 59 El Camino.

    I think my LBCC brethren will warm up to it more after I lower it a bit.

    We are a pretty versatile group of individual's.

    Seriously, those look GREAT!
    The spokes really lent to the traditional lowrider feel..which was cool...
    BUT, the 5 spokes with redlines really fit that car/color perfectly..i'd have a very hard time ever taking them off if i owned it! :D
    But then again, i have a soft spot for early 5 spokes...and early Impala's...haha
    BTW, VERY nice car!
