I'm 15, live in the UK and have been building this for the past 6 months. It is my first build, and I have ended up with almost all the parts being British. It uses a Reliant Kitten chassis, modified to fit a Ford pop 103e front axle, which is, or will run Triumph Spitfire front discs, when I get the money for new discs and calipers (I might try and get the old calipers working again, and buy new seals and pads). The engine is Reliant (only 850cc, but I love it), and so is the rear axle. The engine was the first thing I got, and that has had a bit of TLC and a few new parts. The rear wheels are some Morris Minor ones, and the body shell will be an Austin A35 bodyshell, with the whole nose cut off so exposed engine, and an entirely new floor and bulkhead made from sheet steel. In the process of making the new floor, I will channel it 4 inches over the chassis rails, and then later chop the roof 2 inches. The front grill will be a Morris 10 grill. I plan to paint the body, the wheels and the front grill shell all red oxide (mixed with matting agent), but the time for painting is waaaaaaaay in the future. Here's a few pictures:

Grill shell and wheel (not the wheels I am using) mockup:

I love the other young peoples stuff on here too. Really impressive, and much better than mine!

I'm 24 and I have 2+ years into my '26 T roadster that I know most of you have seen here. The T is coming close to completion, so I am laying out the foundation for my next "project" ....a duplicate '29 A roadster to the one my grandfather raced in the late 40's and 1950's.

Here is a few shots of my '26 and the link to my thread, Enjoy!

...Sorry, had a brain fart...I'm a little over the age limit, but I guess its been more like 3+ years now, since I bought it and started building at 20.

Yes! but I sold them and ran the fenton aluminum ones instead. I really like the fentons. They resemble the stock steel covers but yet have the aluminum fins. Cool stuff!

Thank you! I would love to share the pictures of the build with everybody. I am really trying to make this a good one right out of the shoot. I dont want to take any short cuts around anything to finsh it. I have acquired some rare parts and cant wait to cut the bad boy 5". Its going to look different!

I'm Jake, i'm 19 and i've been wrenching on cars since i was about 13 or 14 with my dad/friends. I've sampled around, i have a '27 T roadster, a '63 Bug all cal styled, an 03 mini truck, everything customized. But most importantly, my project is my 1935 Ford Truck. Plans are the engine below, t5 trans, front and rear kickups, all traditional styled.
