I did this a few years ago, it's the first car I did that I modeled after something....my '70 Buick Electra 225 Custom convertible.

I wasn't sure what happened to it, but somehow it ended up on a buddy's house porch on the other side of the state. It's got a nice patina on it now:D

    The wheels still turn lol

djustu-- the patina is real nice on that...

It has been awhile... stopped photo production to pick up the markers, paint brushes and what not. This one is a work in progress... let me know what you think.

Wow! Just got started and already some great stuff. Here's the RPU that I started for last week's show. Finally got it finished. Also, a different version of the '40 Ford from last week. The last ones are by request. I received a message via My Space asking to show the close up shots of my avatar art. So, here ya go. I'm changing jobs in the next couple of weeks and that will allow me more time to draw, so expect more production in the weeks and months to come. Enjoy...

Here is some stuff that I have been trying to get out of my head and onto paper. The were too big to cut linoleum and letterpress but I made my own exposure unit and screenprinted them 2 weeks ago.

    Process image first color down.

Exposure unit set up to burn the screen. The exposure box underneath took about 3 hours to build.

Concepts for posters that I will burn screens for tonight. Using the solid background even though I really like the lace in the second shot. Trying to get a bunch of stuff ready for Greaserama. Wanted to vend at the HAMB drags but I am out of time and $ to make it happen.

Lastly - some true letterpress from me not just screen printing. Hot rod note cards. For when you just need to put your mushy thoughts into words and still keep that tough guy image.
