Rod and Custom Magazine, anyone else have problems this month?

I never got my Rod and Custom magazine for October. I called and all they told me was I was going to have to go get it at the store. Happen to anyone else?

I got mine as well, the Mountain Pearl is killer.

 

When I called they told me you are not guaranted(SP) to get if before it hits the stands....so I didnt renew after 12 years..

 

Haven't got mine yet either.....

I had to call in june, I got my july issue but have yet to get this months, I fear I will have to call again. Wonder what the deal is..... Maybe my mail man is a hot rod guy too

 

Got mine about ten days ago.

 

I haven't got one in a couple of years. Missed it at first but I'm over it now. Found out I'd rather use the money going to the races.

 

My mailman isn't in to hotrods or customs so I usually tend to get mine on time and it was sitting here when I got back from vacation.

I'm amazed they won't just send you another one, given sometimes they'll sell a subscription that works out to about a quarter an issue.

Haven't got mine and I think I missed last months but I saw this months at Kroger weeks ago.

 

Apparently I'm not allowed to have mine. I never received July and had to call. They told me I had cancelled my subscription even though I didn't, supposedly they fix the problem. Couple months go by and I don't get September. Call back again and they still tell me my subscription is cancelled and the only way I can get new issues is if I resubscribe even though my sub doesn't expire until March 2010. You can imagine what my answer was. Kevin was even trying to get the circulation dept to contact me and they wouldn't. Apparently they have so many subscribers, they don't need little ol me.

 

When my Oct. issue didn't show up,and it had been in the store for 12 days,I called.
They [ R&C] said,sorry it's out of stock but we'll extend your sub. for one more month .
Now the reason I've been a long time subscriber is I don't like paying the news stand price of 6.00. At least I'm now good till july of 2013. I'm not sure if the problem is the U.S.P.S or Rod & Custom.

holy moly....I was wondering what was going on. Went to a buddies house and he had gotten his, I eventually just had to buy it at the newstand. Lame! Johnny

 

Looks like I didn't didn't get this months issue and I too get plenty of renewal forms.
If I have to keep getting it at the supermarket, why subscribe?

Wow, I live in the middle of now where (literaly) and I am the one who usually doesn't get that sort of stuff. Even I got mine. And I pay a lot more for shipping as well.

 

Got mine almost two weeks ago

 

I stopped street rodder for the same reason -( they did keep extending mine though). I think a lot of it is the postal service BUT this is rediculus .
