Event Coverage *PHOTOS: Bonneville Speed Week 2009: A Road Trip with DAD*

This year, my dad rode with me to Bonneville Speed Week. We have never really taken a trip like this together. We both had a great time and I have no doubt we'll be back again next year!

We arrived on Friday morning (08/07/09), checked into the motel and went straight to the tech. inspection area---

This car was impressive... I know it ran 198 mph when I was at El Mirage in June, 2009. Centrifugal blown flathead

Saturday morning drivers' meeting




A shot of the Poteet & Main Speed Demon Streamliner right before it's first pass of the week, as well as the first pass of the whole event.
I believe it went 369 on a 315 record!







We were able to drive down the Long Course (8 miles) after the drivers' meeting
