On Sunday afternoon/evening Huntimer Photography hosted a BBQ at this old military hangar. The Enola Gay was prepped there before dropping the bomb. It was quite an amazing place to walk through!

 

Back out on the salt fairly early Monday morning

We met the guys that run the Spirit of San Diego car on Sunday evening at the Huntimer Photography deal. Talk about a couple of very nice and very cool guys! I know they broke a record or two during the few days they were there. We caught them as they were packing up to go home on Monday. Congrats on the new records!!

There is alot of history behind this car and I believe it was originally built in 1960. Definitely worthy of it's own thread/story some time.
