Your going to luv this.In dec./Jan I had all that for sale CHEAP and had no takers for 3 mo.In Auburn,Illinois. camco
Try Dave's Fabulous Falcons, he seems to have everything. When I needed an instrument cluster for my Comet he had one in stock and way cheap, even hooked me up with a lighter delete for five bucks.
Camco do u still have that stuff cuz im not 2 far away from u im in central illionis and dearnborn doesnt have any of thatnk but thanks and ill try flat top bob and daves thanks all for ur help and keep it comeing cuz i need it lol
1) Go to local book store 2) Buy a copy of Hemmings Motor News 3) Call one of the numerous Falcon/Comet vendors and order your part. I had to write the estimate on a '65 Comet and found everything I needed (including the radiator support) in two phone calls. The parts are out there.
Parting out one of 3 , 65 Comets.........two door sedan...call if interested in any parts 972.712.6558..........core support may work and the front half of the 1/4 panel should be the same.......in the Dallas, Tx area Mark
north west classic Falcons http://www.nwfalcon.com/used_ford_parts/index.html main page http://www.joebfalcons.com/ parts page http://www.joebfalcons.com/parts_cars.htm try theese Paul Jug
i have called and tryed everybody that u have mentioned and and they all said that they would call me back but none of them have also is there any place that reproduces them cuz i cant find anybbody that does that either
have patience... Bob WILL call you back if he said he'd do so, weather he has the stuff you need or he dont.
Well don't feel too bad your not alone in this been trying to get my 64 falcon on the road as well.Try contacting a local falcon club in your area they might have a lead on the parts you need.Ive been looking for a donor car myself but haven't found one in the right price range. To be honest the only one I found they wanted 2500 for it and that is way to much for a donor car good luck. Aslo try http://www.falconparts.com/
i told you he would... you new guys gotta keep something in mind here when you call Bob. he's a ONE MAN operation. period. 65 or so acres of stuff to sort out. he has a gal that answers the phone for him, but other than that, he locates, picks/pulls, packs, and ships everything himself. so when you call and he hasnt gotten back to you in 5 minutes, settle down. he aint a pep boys store and you arent dealing with manny moe and jack
there isnt a falcon club in my area im pretty sure cuz ive tried to find 1 but i havent been able to find anything(everybody in my area is strickly chevy) and i actually just got off the fone with them (him returning my call) adn he has 1 but he really doesnt want to ship it if at all necceaesry and he wants 250 for it and then if i can get him to ship it it will b a lot more than that. thanks for all ur help and suggestions but im sorry to say i still need more of them
Looked in Hemmings yet? How about the folks who advertise in Cars & Parts magazine? Lots of people parting cars out with ads all over those books. Watched eBay for one? It's not going to leap out through the monitor into your lap, it may take some time to find one.
no store around me has 1 so i had to order 1 from hemmings so im waiting 4 it to get here so i can look
i am a member of the falcon club of america but i have missed the last few nationals ! they put out monthly newsleter though with classifieds , i will keep my eyes open ! also there is an index listing members and their city's and states if i see someone close to you i will try to put you in contact with them ! too bad you weren't closer i have a friend in the club that has buildings full of parts for them and probably has 3 of everything you need ! he is usually vending in the swap area during nationals !
My older son has a 66 Mustang, my younger son has a 64 Falcon, I cant say FOR SURE but I want to think that the core supports are VERY similar... maybe identical. Probably at least close enough that a core support from a Mustang could be made to work in a pinch, these are available new and cheap. I would line the cars next to each other and compare, but they are in two different states.. I will take a peek at the Falcon tomorow and post back if I remember.
