  5. '40 was the last year for a body-on-frame construction Nash. They were pretty heavy duty underneath. Would make a nice, unique ride. I have a shot at another '40, a sedan but supposedly in good shape, I may grab for myself.

Ya know what they always say... When the Nash is outtin' the ladies are flashin'....And trees grow ***s too....

That car looks sweet, I see a very good canidate for a tail dragger of sorts...I'd pretty much go with Mr. Lancaster's idea... Cool car, never seen one before...It's sweet that it looks like a custom...when it's not.

Well I did it! I went to the auctions and came home with the car. It sturned out to be better than expected with extra parts, all new gl***, and a complete interior that was out of the car when I saw it before.

Don't forget to radius the wheel wells, so you can put bigger slicks and skirts on...

    Congrats on the new ride!

39 seemed to be the year that American maufacturers expiremented with head lamp shapes. I don't beleive that many cars in 39 had headlamps with round lenses. cept for GMs. they had apparently just discovered sealed beams.

Nash had an over head valve 6 with dual ignitioin/dual spark plug deal.

Used to be a 40 around here the fellow had put a 4.0 Jeep motor in. I know not traditional but looked real at home in there.
