A couple local shows for my '57 Cadillac and it will be stored for a few years. I had a great time this weekend. Saw a lot of HAMBers and I made it the the HAMB M & G but a little late. Usually I miss it all together.
Here are pictures of Thursday at the hotel and Fri-Sat&Sun at Pleasanton.

Wow not to sure about this one. I have generally liked his other cars but this one doesn't do it for me. I think it is the front end treatment.

Here are some Swap Meet finds:

The Lincoln was clean, needs to fix the DONK issue, but very clean, inside stock.
The COE was priced at $37K, crossed out and said make offer:eek:, very cool build.
I got the 1930's head light lens and glass (the cadillac shield was in perfect condition)
The CC Plate - Customs Bay Area and the taildragger looks like my LaSalle:cool:
And I got the old Cadillac pictures from a vendor inside.

His headlights are behind the Merc grill. A car seems to have a face. It looks like his is blind. He loves the hidden lights, that is what makes John, John. The interior is unbelieveable too.

Yeah that might be all that it is missing is some eyes :D. Just doesn't quite look right. The quality of the work is clearly sensational and I do like his "look" for the rear of his cars.

I think some more chrome whould be nice as well a bit to monochromatic for my tastes.

I wondered what happened to him...
Does he still want people to call him "the Wizard"?

  24. That Gimelli cad is a mess. Bland front....hideous rear. WAY too busy....and at the same time, nothing really being said.

I didn't want to ask because I know I could make it fit in the Caddy trunk with bungee cords.
Thanks Rik, I tried to show different cars

    Yes, no comment.
