I was doing an appraisal on a guys 72 Olds cutl*** convert. when the owner invites me to look at his recently p***ed away fathers car and M/C who has owned them since new. I dont usually do this but I couldnt believe my eyes and just wanted to share. The car is a 1923 Chevrolet Superior Coupe still running the M/C is a 1919 Excelisor V twin just under 1000CC it is running complete with a side car. Sorry no pics of the side car. I have only seen pictures of the a 1923 Chevy before and and have never seen a photo of the Excelisor. ENJOY :cool:

Holy Moly! I didn't know any chevies that old had survived! That's way cool.

Now let's see - if'n it was a Ford you'd be getting advice to "SLAM IT, CHOP IT! BAG IT! SBC IT!".... But me bein' a Fordaholic, my advice would be - give it a coat of Simonize and otherwise DO NOT TOUCH! Well maybe a nice Y-block & a C4  .... just kidding!

What a fine car. Nice M/C too, both look like museum pieces. thanks for sharing.

    WOW!

Thanks for the pics. Never saw the Excelisor. Heard of them but never saw a pic. The Chevy is fantastic. Sure would love to hear both of them run.

thus the reason no one gets excited much...

these are survivors, not barn finds... but what the hell... checkers sells more than chess

Well, for sure, whether it's a "barn find" or a "lock garage, some old tin really CAN get effectively "lost" for decades. Then, finally SOMEbody gets access again to what had been purposely put away.

There's a difference, BUT all these potential PROJECTS are fun to gander at!
