Germ...??? Germ is back on ...NO WAY...!!! Can't be the original Germ...nothing rhymes, nothing looks like a poem, there ain't no cussing... Sorry, I ain't buying it... R-
The early version is so damn sexy... and best of all, it's fucking green and gold. That's going to be a cool car to do.
were gas welding the top back today.... roll pan done in the rear,,....... Come by and check it out..... anybody got any 57 chevy front bumper guards they can bring by for a mock up??? anybody have any to sell that they can DROP OFF???? call me , GERM at 408-856-8755 or call BRAD- at 562-243-9692... come by and see our RAT RODS BRO...
The early Rancheros seem to lend them selves so well to customization, and this car is a perfect example. It's hard to go wrong with a custom Ranchero,... unless of course you do something like the later version.
That first vesion has to be one of, if not THE, sweetest Rancherino ever done. The second one proves old term "Wretched Excess" JMHO
I wonder if the cut down version of the Ford came from the Idea of the Orange Hauler?? like the Model made by Monogram??
That second version looks like a very bad attempt at a '57 A'la Kart.?! If that really is you Germ, I'm happy to know you're still with us!
the first version was so bad ass, but i have to admit, i like the tail on the second version...a result of an accident if i remember correctly...EDIT..just read the article...i was correct...wow that doesnt happen often...haha
Kick ass Ranchero....the 1st version anyway. I see where Weesner gets his Ranchero inspiration from.. I can't seem to place the front bumper? DeSoto? It fuckin' rules....
The first green and gold version is worth doing again, very nice..the second version, like cshabang mentioned, looks like a salvage job from getting sandwich wrecked...
haha... we were just talking about how cool it would be to clone this virsion....... im happy some one finaly is......
Also... never seen this mentioned, but I think the front pan is made from a 56 Merc bumper. Just kinda looks like the same shape, only V'd. I painted the side view of that car on my Peachie folder in 8th grade. Rancheros get me chubbie.
Crashing sucks, and all things considered it wasn't too bad, not the first edition but I've seen rebuilt women that look a lot worse.
Gorgeous Ranchero, can't wait to see pics of what you guys are doing. And Germ...welcome back! I still remember talking with you at the salt flats in '02.
like a jigsaw puzzle... notice we left the SHITBOX roof unratrodded(TM) across the top.... so much for the SOUTH EAST CORNER of paso .....
