My Dad sent me these today. This building in Guthrie Ky will soon be gone.

 

A 61 with a 62 front clip. I've seen that done before.

 

Looks like it's been covered up by another sign all these years.....probably what preserved it. I'd like to have that bad boy as the inside wall of my shop.
What a shame...another chunk of Americana lost.

 

The naughty witch is always my favorite costume at Halloween parties.

That is CQQL! I saw Brigader General Paul W. Tibbets Jr. behind the controls back in the 80s back when is was the Confederate Air Force.

I remember seeing that in person. They were demonstrating it at different places in NYC. I saw it in front of The Loews American in the Bronx. It was probably around 1960 or '61
