The official color is Rat Rod Red which is very close but not exactly the shade of my vagina.

Dude, you have know idea how far ahead we plan for things. I had the baby's room painted like 2 years ago while we were in the midst of painting the rest of the house. It's sort of sickening.

Thanks man for the heads up. Jordan aka 5WBomber is expecting this axle early next week. I talked to him last night and he said that he was going to take a leave of absence from the Church of Scientology where he was studying to become a shaman of sorts. Rumor has it that Tom Cruise gave him a pint of blood so that they would be united in his journey. Just in case you were wondering where he was lately. I appreciate the idea though.

The wheels I plan on using with what I believe to be '38 Deluxe caps. I might swith them out for full wheel covers but as of know these are them...



Probably repops but cool none the less. Chrome is less then the quality you would see on LiveWire.

i thought those wheels were wide 5s? I see someone has already swapped out the old lever arm shocks and juiced the brakes - looks like a good start.

Man was it ever a nice night to be in the garage. First time in a long time that didn't have to ring my cloths out from the humidity. As for the engine, don't get down on me you son of bitch. That 79 SBC is going to look boss with a double pumper and two Holley 850's. Yeah I know it's a stock engine but I think it'll run bitchen.

Thanks Chris on the heads up with those caps. '39 Standard, got it. Whatever they are, i like them more then any other '36-39 cap with maybe the exception of Whitey's MERC caps that he'll hold over my head.

 

They are wide fives. And yep, the brakes and shocks have been switched over so that's a big help. The rear shocks might cause some clearance issues when I get those 7.50's back there. Thanks!!

I got em in that trade deal with the early 32 frame.

I like your idea on the paint just buff an some cool striping,everything else getting suspension running gear all done an then drive the fucker.Like the wide fives get it low an it will be a BITCHIN car.I know what you mean by the humidity I to have spent the last few nites in the garage loving this weather.

 

I took those caps OFF my 39 standard in and am gonna run 39 Deluxe caps For now it has these rusty 16" disc covers

Those caps chris put arnt bad compared to the ones I have....

Maybe mine arnt 39....

They just say mercury with an 8...behind....who knows....

 

If they are big bolt pattern then they sound like 39 Mercs.
