The orignal Gone In Sixty Seconds..... I remember them filming the movie in and around the South Bay.

 

I just found Hot Rod on VHS.....Munn's Root Beer! Gotta love it. A real cheese ball movie but I love the Willys.

You gots to get some stills from American Graffitti 2....the Milner drag strip scenes. I remember some AFX cars.

 

how about some from the cheesy movie road racers, with David Arquette and Salma Hayex???? it was a 56 chevy convertible with a desoto grill. and some from california kid...the coupe

 

please. anybody heard of the road racers movie??

 

As for Dick Dale, my son loves his music. I bought a bunch of old surf music on CD after last year's Goodguys show where I heard Dick Dale's "Mag Wheels" on the PA and had to have it. I put five surf discs in the player and just let it play. "426 Super Stock" is another great tune. The AG original soundtrack CDs are excellent too. "Green Onions" has got to be the BEST cruising song ever. (I can see Milner and Falfa rolling out to race in the morning twilight...)

I`ve seen him a bunch of times locally, really awesome live. AG had a killer soundtrack, Green Onoins....eveytime I hear it I`m on Pardise road.<!-- / message -->

 

yeah american graffitti 2 was cheesy and lame but had some cool rides in the racing scenes

I have a request- what about the hot rod from the latest Indiana Jones movie because I can't find it anywhere on the internetz.
