It's been tough to get time to work on the sedan lately. Having a 1 yr old and all other requirements of life get in the way! I get to it when I can. Have been working on the wiring and installing the top material. Here are some pictures.

I really like your car but the baby's ride is cool. There's more do-dads on that than on a new Mercedes. I started my kids out in the garage the same way. Now they're both gearheads in their mid 20's and my best friends.

Wiring can seem overwhelming, especially when you start out and it looks like a giant beehive hanging under the dash.

Not yet. Still finishing up the odds and ends of the engine install. Maybe in the next two weeks or so I will be able to start it.

Thanks. I bought a kit this time. I usually just buy wire, a fuse block and a couple buses and wire it myself. On this car I should have done just that. I didn't use half the wires on the kit. The car is bare bones no frills so wiring is at a minimum. When I wire my roadster I think I will just do it myself again.

Thanks for all the kind words. I finished the top insert the other day. I'll post pics of the finished product Monday.

So I have a 32 that needs the same thing done to the top. How bad was it? Who did you get the material etc from?

    Thanks

I put a new wood kit in it. The material came from Labarron Bonney. I thought the job would be a lot more difficult than it was. The only part I am not 100% happy with is the trim around the top. If you have the original trim piece it would work a lot better. I used wire on for the trim it worked ok. Here is what it looks like.
