    How many of this type of ERAs were built, and how many are in the USA now? There may have been 3 at Lime Rock a few years ago, but not this one.

    That's a hefty sum to pay. Why so expensive?

  20. Would anyone happen to have the wheelbase for the Bugatti type 32 Tank?

    Same as the Type 30 but with hydraulic brakes.

    Dimensions: Track-Front and rear=41.4ins. or 1.05m.

    Wheelbase=2020mm or 79.5ins.

    Checkout www.Bugatti-32.com/

  22. Look for the beard...

    I would think it would be de Knyff, as he would be the president of the FIA (or what ever it was called) by then.

    Bob,

    Great shot of Alfred Neubauer in the Ferdinand Porsche designed Austro-Daimler 'Sascha' at the 1922 Targa Florio.

    Mr.Daimler must have been very thankful to his son for hiring Porsche.

    Do you remember a small circle track near Norwood? I used to sneak in there to run my go-cart. Nice banked turns. Then we'd go out behind the track - there was a creek, and we'd shoot frogs with our .22's. I imagine that is would not be so easy to do that anymore.
