I took a bunch of photos to show my pal Rich Venza in Ga and thought maybe you other folks may want to see some of them too. The swap meet was good but small. The car corral overflowed into the swap meet area. I did not take any photos of the show cars but there were lots of good ones. First photo shows me on the go kart and my friend Larry on the mini bike racing. He won. We had a great time early in the am before many people got there. This first page includes some of my own junk for sale at the meet.

Met alot of Hambers. some were new friends and some were old ones. It was fun talking to everyone and hearing about their projects at home or what they have been doing this summer. I think it is great to network at events like this. Here are some photos of a few folks. First up is Tim and Angie Evers from nearby KC area who are T and A Fltaheads on the Hamb.

Then I met G***er Louie from NE for the first time.

Last one shows my old pal Carkiller (Cal) from IA who was a vendor. He is starting to look like Leon Russell I think. Just needs an organ to play....

Hung out with brother in law Lawrence and my friend Larry who now owns the T bucket I sold him. My good friend **** (cuzzindeke) came down and spent the day with us too. We had a very good time. Met many other people and Hamb members who I may not remember all their names but it was good to talk to them too. Highlight of the day was the track cruise where we made 3 laps on the big Nascar track. Awesome in an open roadster!

  9. The photo monster is alive and lives in Kansas. Looks like your roadster pickup shrunk a little Paul!!!
Plenty of cast aluminum go fast goodies in the market out there, but asking prices on some looked to be at pre resesion levels.
Don't forget those "special" wheels I need....and thanks again for all the photos.

It was good seeing you. By the looks of the picture, i need to work on my smile. But, no one should notice me with my wife and baby in the picture.

  22. Nice pictures...the swap meet is all too often overlooked in show coverage. Thanks.

The guy with the '39/'40 Sedan has pulled that thing all over the country trying to sell it! It was at the Nationals, and at the Frog Follies. He could probably have dropped the price a little for what he has in fuel, and saved money!

I think those were $375 for the pair. Not my specialty and wasn't sure of the value. I do have his number though.........

  29. Poverty, nice meeting you at KC. Would have liked to have scored that SW gauge board but was too busy beating down Carkiller on Fenton and Eelco parts! Will have to talk more next time around. Carkiller, THANKS again for selling me the stuff at the swap meet. Hope to see you at Wahoo swap later this fall.;)
