Wow looks like the drive down the coast is a really nice one.Bet it was nice and cool that early in the am.

Yep. Not sure what they changed this year as far as enterance and staging, but somebody dropped the ball. Lines going everywhere, cars getting hot, people getting pissed, and some guy in a golf cart running around going in circles. Must have waited an hour before we got through the gates and we were pre-registered! Besides that, had a great time.

 

'Twas a killer ride up the coast , great driving shot's I can't wait for the event shots & fotofinks cruisin album will be cool to see. Thanks for organizing it Bob , job well done.

The missus and I made the trip on the same route after midnight on Friday. Great ride and a big dui checkpoint by the carnival. Cops were way cool and complimented my car and trailer. Goes to show if you have a good attitude, they won't mess with you.

Full moon , the stars were out and cruising on PCH was beautiful . we pulled over before Magu rock to check out the ocean and ALOT of stars in the night sky. Living in LA , you tend to forget all the nice nature stuff.

The drive up was the best part for me, PCH in the morning,nice view,and cool weather,it was nice!

 

Great coverage. Reminds me of the time I woke up at Mugu Rock after drinking heavy in Oxnard. You guys musta drove through PortHueneme and Oxnard shores, huh? My old stompin grounds(in the 70's). Thanks for the shots. Was wondering where you been, BadBob.

As late as Friday night I was locked in an internal battle with myself over whether I should go or not. I should have made the trip up and driven right back home. I would have been home in plenty of time to make the event that prevented me from going.

we need pch run................like start in north laguna and head down to rubys in long beach or something.

 

we left about 2:30 Sat afternoon, {had to get back for the pets} anyway next year ya gotta go

hahaha Bob i see you are biting my style with the chair, and the coupe is looking good, looks like you have put a ton of work into it. i guess your hiatus from the HAMB gave you a ton of time to take it apart . . .
