    Ha ha did I !!!

I didn,t cut the firewall at all although just a little clearance issue with the p***enger side cylinder head, I just warmed up the area and gently tapped it in so that I can remove the head (should I need to) but as for the fan that was probably the biggest headache of all time because of the Johnston intake it meant moving the dynamo (generator) the one of the heads I guess no problems there but using the Harmon & Collins mag threw a whole new ball game into the equation!! the depth of the mag meant that i had to remove the outer sheave of the crank pulley to fit it which meant that I had to get a single belt to go round all the pulleys. so some very careful measuring and fettling of the 37 fan I could just about get it in the required space I then had to modify a 8BA fan carrier (I think) to enable it to all work, boy was I glad to get that out of the way
