Like people continuing to give advice and input for a column that was written 3 years ago?

But seriously, it's like women... They all do the same thing, they all got the same equipment, and when the lights are out, they all feel about the same....... So why do guys go ga-ga over Pam Anderson, and not over Cathy Bates?

There's no accounting for taste? Whatever is cool and nice to some is factored as "safe" and everyone jumps in the boat?
"Spinner Wheels" on the Bentleys,Escalades and GMC's a few years back? Where are they now? Fads.

Consider the words "basically","actually","iconic" and a few others.Listen to a speaker anywhere and they'll utter those words at some point.Hinge words between substance.

"Cl***ic" is good design, time and performance-tested and a product with substance.
Maybe it's true that there's nothing new, just revival?

Just my opinion, but I sure damn hope that "basically" dies soon! "Support" has taken too long to leave the lexicon.

As much as we hate to admit it - we're all rebels (pun intended) - there is a big part of our tastes and desires are driven by marketing and conditioning.
