I'm glad your OK. My wife is what I call a health NUT. Like we are car nuts, Reads all the time watches all the shows and takes courses and is more knowledgeable then the doctors are. Quotes me all he time about the bad shit i EAT AND HOW WE AS AMERICANS ARE EATING TOO MUCH SHIT AND IT IS ALL CLOGGING UP OUR BLOOD VESSELS AND THE DOCTORS JUST PUT BANDAIDS ON IT LIKE CHOLESTORAL LOWERING STUFF'. kINDA LIKE PUTTIN' IN THAT SHIT THAT GETS U MORE mpg IN THE CAR. wE ALL KNOW HOW WELL THAT WORKS.

i CAN ONLY SAY THAT THIS IS A WAKE UP CALL FOR YOU TO CHANGE YOUR LIFESTYLE. i DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS BUT IF U ARE LIKE MOST AMERICANS U PROBLY EAT A LOT OF FAST FOODS OR IF YOU EAT AT HOME ALOT MAY HAVE A LOT OF FAT IN THE FOOD ,GRAVY ON EVERYTHING(WHAT i MISS MOST) THAT KINDA THING.
YOU ARE LUCKY TO HAVE SUVIVED BECAUSE I THINK THE SURVIVAL RATE FOR YOUNGER MEN IS NOT THAT GOOD.

Glad your ok, my dad has had 5 heartattacks and two surgeries and is in need of another right now. He's only 60. His first attack was at 42.

The coughing while you think you're having a heart attack is an email urban legend and can actually make things worse.

Your best bet is to call 911 immediately, sit down with your upper body elevated, and if possible, aspirin.

I lost 15 lbs as of today since Dec 2nd. Low fat diet and lot'd of exerice. Lot's of fruits and veggies. The first weeks was the hardest. I was a junk food junkie and ate fast food for all 3 meals.
My BP went frm 163/98 down to 154/87 in one month with no med's. My sleeping is also better. My wife say's I don't snore as much.

I cut out all bread, pasta, red meat and anything fried. I do eats lot's of fish and white meat chicken.

75 more lbs to go. Started at 292 lbs.

Not really for strokes. There are 2 types of strokes that you can have, one with blockage where the aspirin will work and one where a blood vessel ruptures and the aspirin will make it worse. That is why you should talk to your doctor about starting an aspirin regiment.

I had a buddy with a hemorrhagic stroke at the age of 31.

I helped in a research project counting abnormal EKGs in an animal heart attack model. I was amazed at the reduction in abnormal EKGs when the hearts were treated with fish oil. That stuff really seems to help.

I had no pain just some pressure on the right side of my chest and minor dizziness going up a ladder. 4 major arteries 90 to 95% clogged. I was lucky to not have a heart attack.

I listen to a lot of talk radio. One day, there was an interview of a doctor that promoted the use of cayenne pepper. He told the story of a guy that was diagnosed as having conjenitive heart failure. His doctor gave him months to live. His neighbor told him to use cayenne pepper. This guy took 3 gelcaps, emptied them and filled them with cayenne pepper. He took all 3. A few days later, he was feeling so good, he shoveled snow off his roof. After a few months, he went for a check and they found nothing wrong.

The doctor they interviewed said that cayenne pepper promotes blood flow. You can also get gelcaps with cayenne pepper and garlic, vitamin C, gingsing, bee pollen, etc...100 gelcaps cost $5 at any health food store. Anyway, at one of the doctors lectures, he claims a member of the audiance had a heart attack. He broke a cayenne pepper gelcap and stuck it under the patients tongue. By the time the paramedics arrived, he was walking around.

My Dad died from a heartattack at 62. I've been using cayenne pepper with garlic twice a day for the past 6 years. Also 1 asprin. Warning: DO NOT TAKE with food or you will get horrible heart burn. Also, do not take if you have an ulcer. I take it on an empty stomach and wait an hour before eating. The first few times, you turn red and feel warm all over.

I had aches and pains from lifting heavy. I like ti weight lift. One I started using cayenne pepper, the pain went away.

 

I have heard something like that before. I have acid reflux so bad that sometimes I wake up at night swearing I am having a heart attack. I am afraid the cayenne would kill me that way. It would probably give me heart burn so bad I would pray to have the heart attack. Heart attacks run in my family. All of my grandparents and my father have died from heart attacks, my mother has a bad heart. I am 42 and it is not if it is going to happen, it is when it is going to happen as far as I am concerned.
