I keep hearing young guys or a family man can't get into old cars because starter cars are too expensive.
For $500 a guy on a budget could do a hell of a lot worse towards a family sedan. Offer $300-get it for $400.
    I'm building a 34 Ford; $400 will get you a fender.

Dr J said it has too many doors! Dude If your going to build a custom car that isn't a big deal .That is why they invented saw blades, cut off wheels and welders,Jesh .What do you want for $500 ? How about a mint genny 34 ford 3 window coupe for $500? IN YOUR DREAMS!LOL.

I'm contemplating picking this thing up... It's about 4-5 hrs from me. The LAST thing I need right now is another project taking up space, but you know how that goes. It's a disease I tell ya! Hmmmm, maybe a cool custom in a few years! We'll see how it goes.

Cool car! Weld the rear doors shut, and make it a custom! Not many people would recognize it as a 4 door, I wouldn't think.

As far as I can tell from Google, this is the car... Any photochoppers want to take a crack at a mild chop job, real low, maybe even skirts?

Hell yeah ... I'd roll with that!

Looked up a '36 on Carnut, but the only example is fully street rodded, easter-egged and all. Rather than shock everyone's eyeballs and sensitivities by posting the pic, I'm just including the link:

    http://www.carnut.com/photo/list/g/grah36.html

With the right paint (well, any other paint!), and some decent wheels it would be a fine ride.

    Oh .... wait, wait!
I just noticed, it's a dreaded four door!
    Eeeewwwwww!!!!!

I take it all back .... it's a complete and total piece of ****! Even the individual parts off a four door are tainted, and shouldn't be used lest they make you turn gay and/or geekoid!

Gotta go beddy-bye now, I'll just cuddle up with my 1964 high school football jacket and dream sweet dreams of cheerleaders and manly two door automobiles!

You don't have that thing home and in your garage yet? The damn grille is worth 2X the price if its good.

Well, that's a good thing because it would cost me 2x the price just for gas to get up there!!! I just talked to the guy. He sent me a few more pics. Dash is really cool. Would be an awesome dash for a model A. He has 7 people in line before me, so we'll see. The good part is that I am currently jobless, which means I have the time to get up there before the weekend if he'll do a "first come first served" deal! The bad thing is that I am currently jobless, which creates a small money problem. Oh, and there's the wife thing. Forgot about that.

How's this for a cool pic of one of these!!!! I'm digging it. I like the roof, and absolutely love the front end.

Sometimes it's better to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission. Usually works on the wife, not so much on the bank. I feel yer pain.

  21. Ouch!! That did hurt!! I feel like my eye's are dialated:eek::cool:

  22. Seems like I saw one at Back to the 50's a few years ago. It was rodded but a really cl*** job. The car has a great looking front end. I think it would make a cool custom or family haulin' rod.

Here's a pic of that dash, and another of the grill..... I LOVE THIS GRILL! This is actually a very solid car. Obviously needs a little cleaning, but it's a solid start for sure.

Check out the hood ornament! Really art-deco kinda feel.... Love it!

OK, I've given in. I'm going up in the morning to pick this ****er up. I'm going to take a crescent wrench and duct tape so I can get it fired up and drive it home. I'll take a trailer just in case.

Sorta off topic for the thread, but since we're talking Grahams, here's a '41 that's pretty damn nice.

Yes, it's street rodded but still a very sleek body style.
