Those B-17s sitting there like that is a crying shame, not because they dropped bombs on people, but because of the BRAVE young men who risked all to help us stay FREE!

Fritz von Opel in Racketenwagen 2, 1928 Berlin. Set speed record at 148MPH. 24 rockets for power. Each time the 'gas pedal' was pushed down, 2 more rockets would light off :D No helmet because well .... what good would it do?

  15. Yes, for sure. Notice there's also a few B29s in that lot. Sad that only one of those graceful Superforts (Fifi) is still airworthy.

  22. When I was a sophomore in high school Paul Adair had one of these.
My cuz Gary and I watched him ruin three tail light lenses trying to install blue dots! He ended up buying all the lenses that Pep Boys had!

Wow, I built this model about 25 years ago but I see a few similarities (aside from the DeSoto grille and bumper). Pretty cool![IMG][IMG]

This critter decided to make my 35 project truck home.

Spiders don't get much bigger than this in Northern Minnesota.

I'll have to snap some pics of the guy that resides next to my garage. Not quite as "hairy" as that one, but it's freakin' HUGE!!
