I was wondering if you guys can post up some of your Chevy II coupes, sedans or wagons. I own a 63 Chevy II wagon and am trying to decide on a color for it. Right now it's between some kind of classy looking metallic blue or teal or green off a new CR-V Honda SUV with light Fawn (tan) interior. Any pictures of any kind of Chevy II would be great though. Thanks!
Thanks for the pics! I am actually on that site, I am Shawn F. on there. Thought I'd check out what is on this forum as well. You have some nice Chevy II's. I plan to get mine started on again tomorrow but have TONS of work to do and thousands to spend.
Here is the wife's wagon Go back and look at your earlier post on Chevy II wagons. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=308305&showall=1
for what it's worth, i have a set of 13" disk brake ready wheel's and tire's for them little nova's. what i was told is the rims and tire are near new and special made, anyone interested let me no.
II's are cool. i've had a few wagons, but no pics i can find right now. in my opinion, stick to a more period color rather than a modern one.
Here's my 64 Wagon. Pics taken today. Just about ready for paint. Going with the semi gloss black look. Yeah I know it's kinda played out but that's what I want for it. If I put nice shiney paint on it then I've gotta spend a few thousand on new trim & right now I just don't have the cash for that. I'm keeping the 6 cylinder/powerglide combo in it for now, it runs great. It's gonna make a cool daily driver/soccer mom wagon. Any one know where I can find a pair of decent used Acadian 6 cylinder fender emblems for it?
Nice vehicles guys. I can't decide on a color. I am stuck between a medium metallic blue, a bronze type orange with pearl white roof, torq thrust wheels and wide whites, or the new Honda CR-V Green Tea Metallic color. The car was originally green and the Honda color is similar to the stock green but with a little pearl and some gold in it. I dont care for how much gold it has in it though. I also like a pewter color too. hell I dont know. I dont want a very modern color, I want to stick to a 60's era look with stock fawn interior but luxury at the same time or have the speaker covers the old cloth looking material on the Fender amplifiers for guitars. I also plan to put a rack on top for step ladder for my detailing business and hell even a surf board for the beach. I am kind of going for a era correct but luxury type surf wagon if this makes any sense. I am ready to paint this thing. I have all the disk brakes, drop spindles, drop blocks, power m/c and booster, lines, floor patches, new doors, new fenders, all new front end bolt kit, etc. Before putting the brakes and suspension parts on I want to paint them nicely the same color as the body so I am trying to decide.
BTW, if I can find a 60's Chevy II wagon model online for sale for under $30 then I will buy 2 or 3 of them and paint them a few different colors and see what I like best...
Very nice! I want another Chevy II wagon to build a drag car out of. Possibly a gasser style or such. Can you give more details on that one?

Nice rides guys. AHotRod, if you dont mind me asking, what kind of drivetrain do you have in that? Is the front end tubular arm conversion, stock, Church Boy's front end or what? Jay S. I like yours, I'd love another Chevy II to do a gasser style drag car out of just for the strip and local around town driving to cruise in's. Maybe one day after I build a Track T or something.
Here's a few of mine on the Power Tour a couple of years ago. here's is a very nice stock color P.S. Here is my wagon project. I am thinking apple green and ermine white from posts up.
