    My thoughts exactly! LOL :D

I'll start bringing the maps over and posting them. You guys keep posting up your spots, I'll figure out how to mark them somehow.

A HAMB vendor map is a great idea, I'll be in RWF 11-12. It looks as if Tuesday is the official first day, it used to be listed as a set-up day only. As for cars, the notice they sent me says "No modifieds allowed in the flea market ...... that includes rods, cruisers, vehicles for sale or vehicles used as vendor transportation".

The notice is on the bright orange page, in bold letters, underlined, capitalized, etc.

I wonder if I'll be able to drive into our spots with the mag wheels on my '65 Country Squire???

  7. All,

Why don't we start a Hershey thread for Field/space numbers only? Right now they are scattered throughout this thread. I'll start it if everyone agrees.

I've been going to Hershey for years...and NEVER had a problem with anything I was driving. Some of the guards are A holes, but they can be sweet talked out of any disagreement. Your Country Squire will get in with no problem.

    Thanks, vintageauto.
Years ago I had my '39 Woodie in the white field and it was obviously not an original car.(the Halibrands might have been a clue, lol)
Never was a problem. But with all the talk about last year I was beginning to wonder if things were getting crazy.

Good idea about the spaces list.

Ours are OBG 23,24,25. Me, Banjorear, and my friend who's not a HAMBer, but he might be by the end of the meet!

  9. Hey Von,

I've never had any problems...but that doesn't mean there aren't some idiots runnin things sometime. If I don't hear differently, I'll start the Hershey Space thread. I know someone is looking into the maps, so I'll give it a day or two.

Maybe if you put those "I [heart] the AACA" & "My other is a 1918 Olds" bumper stickers on, they'd give the key to the city and lifetime membership status.

Hey all, we're stayin at the Highmeadow campground. What do we think about an afterhours gathering around a fire or somethin? If not, what about a decent hangout? Any ideas? I'm sure to have a couple gallons of 'Apple Pie".

I might actually make it out there one day during the week, Weds or Thurs. Is one day better than another?

If I make it (not sure yet), I would be looking for 1950-1953 Cadillac Sheetmetal (fenders, etc) and 1959-1962 Cadillac 390 engine parts (Cranks, rods, etc).

What are the chances I would be able to locate this stuff at Hershey? Cause I sure as hell couldn't find any at Charlotte.

Tip #1: Buy a program, every vendor is listed in there along with an index of the parts they specialize in. You can pick the likely spots for stuff you need and not waste time walking up and down the rows. I'm not into the cars you have so never notice those parts, chances are they are there, or someone has them back home. Stop by C4J 41-42 and say hello. Bob:)

I heard today that one of the stainless steel Fords will be shown at Hershey, a '35. A stainless Lincoln and the Swigart Olds Limited are at the AACA museum. Over 1300 cars registered for Sat. show.

BUDGET van is packed, and ready to roll. Nice having solid sides and not worry about blowing out side windows if the load shifts, this is one load of crap. The Fred Flintstone kit car should draw a crowd. Good night, on the road by 6:00 see you all there.

  22. See you all Thurs morning!

  23. Hey guys,

If anyone is reading this at Hershey, I 'm on the hunt for an Olds 3 port/'23 Chevrolet FB head (they're essentially the same thing). My cell is 770-601-6551 if anyone finds one that's reasonable.

    Thanks, Bill

PS- Brad54 and I willing be heading up after I finish teaching the kiddies today!
