john, i had a thread on it, that nitrofc just linked to, and keith started the dsicussion about meet and greet in this thread with post #25.

not sure what else could have been done. we were all standing in front of the registration pavilion looking like a bunch of idiots.

and, they stopped the band from playing the music, and announced it over the loud speaker...

I have posted 1486 pictures here:
    http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2009/Ty-Rods/index.html

Somehow I missed the HAMB meeting. I am very disappointed in that. Next time someone please grab me. (at Alter Boys?).

However, they came out in the wrong order. When I took the pictures, I got some pics of people coming in and then I went at got lots of good pics of traditional hotrods in the area near where Ty-Rods cars are parked and then I walked around.

I got lots of pictures of Richie Wiletts HAL engine but I took them at a couple of different times so they are not all together. Also, I was unable to avoid having people in the back ground. I can probably get some better pictures later at his place (I have been taking progressive pictures of it as it was going together).

If I re-sequence them I will do it in a way that does not make them become unavailable for more than a minute or so. I just wanted to make sure that people don't miss something good because they are fooled by the order that I took them in.

This is the car that I brought:

I thought that it was funny that the sign that was posted on a tree that said "350 motor give away 3:30" was almost right next to Richies engine. I (jokingly) asked him if the Hal motor was the raffle motor (because it was next to the sign). ;)

Did we meet at the Limeworks open house in LA during the Father's Day Roadster show? I was in the '32 roadster from Ohio. I remember you saying you were on the HAMB but I never caught your HAMB name....

Great show as always! The highlight for me was bringing my boy to his first hot rod show. Here he is sporting his favorite shirt (from Sando's company "Swivel Industries"...cool stuff!)

Here are the newest Alter Boys' club members seeming unimpressed:

Another highlight was seeing Richie Willett's HAL conversion B motor, what a beauty!

And the latest Alter Boys' ride to hit the street:

Hey, you're the east coast version of ColoRODo's 40StudeDude. Probably gonna have to REMEMBER to set teh alarm on your cell phone next year THEN remember WHY it's going off next year at noon.

LOL, me too, (I made a "mistake" on the HAMB this morning:eek:)......better be careful or folks will think we were together.;) :D

N1gzd, Hi Rebecca! Thank you for the Photos of the Show and my Car #729. You did an excellent job last year and again this year. I may as well leave my crapy camara at home.

thanks. I had a lot of fun but I missed some of the cars on the hill. By the time I got there some of them had left. I wanted to see the purple 53 Buick. I have not seen that car with paint and an interior and I was curious to see it.
