Well got a good 7 or 8 hrs in today. Lots of work done. Ill post a couple different sets of pics. Overall good day with my dad getting some work done on the coupe. Lots and Lots of little stuff done. Making all the brackets and mounts takes alot of time...well I needed to beef up the Z of the frame so I used the plasma cutter to make a diamond for the top of the Z and I made a Spade for the bottom turned out pretty good...Still have to clean the spades up after I got them welded on

I know where a original '66 350 H.P. Corvette 327 engine is, could be dropped in, wired up and started and driven.

Great "Devilish" photos to go with the white devil name. These look like the devil himself ("the dark one") took them. Spooky looking with that lighting.

Well got a couple hours in today. I got my weld in battery box all boxed in. Used the plasma cutter to get all the pieces for the weld in box so it wont get any moisuture in. Got them all welded up and the welds ground down...I have two more pieces for it to make it completely boxed in sitting below the floor and then I will just get a custom upholstered top for the top of the battery. It will look good when its done but overall I got alot done on the box...alot of work but worth it. Also going to look at a 70's sbc tonight well see how that goes!

Well the search is over. Went with my pops and picked up sbc for the coupe tonight. Its a early 70's 350 punched out to a 355 (.30 over) some modern edelbrock aluminum heads, lunati cam, probe pistons, roller tip rockers etc. Set my 3 deuce intake on it and it looked really good. Going to get rid of the chevy orange and paint the block black. Still have to get some finned valve covers for it (think im going to go black finned to be different) and some other chrome accessories. Im on shift tommorow but my carbs will be here so the engine will be coming along!

Well the wife called and said my "junkyard" rochester 2g's are in and boy are they ugly. Got alot of cleaning to do. But before long with my tripower kit, some carb cleaner, alot of elbow grease and some paint they should be lookin good before long. Looks like building the tripower is high on the agenda...itll be good to take a very short break from all the welding and heat!

Question....what motormounts can I use for my sbc to get it above my vega steering box??? The vega box looks to be where my motor mounts need to be...any ideas

Well got my first rochester 2g (center carb) an overhaul today. Wow what a difference! Dissasembled it, I soaked it in parts cleaner for 30 min, scrubbed the shat out of it, scrubbed it again, dried it all, painted it, got the longer shaft installed, total rebuild...etc!!! It was some work no doubt about it at least it wasnt welding for the time being. Heres some pics thought you guys would enjoy! Still have the outside dumpers to do as well...anyone know what size carb studs you need for a edelbrock 3x2 intake???? Let me know what you guys think of my new carb...actually wanted to do black carbs but settled for the black bases:D
