Falfa and Milner

I drove a chopped 32 five window for eight years.now Im drivin a 56 2dr post straight axle car...so the answer is BOTH,

 

Falfa's 55 was a ruler. Milner knew it too.

 

I'll take some of this beef jerky, a ball point pen, a pint of Old Harper, and one of them combs...And a time machine to get me back to a time were Susan Summers didn't need a thigh master. I'd the piss yellow coupe, Falfas hat, then I'd tie him to the car and dragg um

 

The 32 would have been lighter. I always thought 409 for the time period to pull the 32.

But with the Merc you got the club jacket and the blood initiation.

 

Cool factor is about even, but the '55 sounded better and was faster!

 

I've got to go with the 409 for the same reason. Falfa would have needed the extra cubic inches to stay with the lighter car.

In 1962, the high performance (this one's a QB) engines had painted valve covers. In 1963 the hipo engines got chrome valve covers.

The '55 was the better lookin' car buuuutttttt......I'd still have to take the coupe, it's one of the two yellow '32 Fords that ruined me for life lol....Oh yeah the other(and more meaningful one for me) '32 Ford was our friend Johnny Wood's yellow '32 three window. Imagine being about 10 years old and your first ride in a hotrod is a 9 second street driven '32 highboy!!!!!!!

 

Spendy? I bought a brand new 327 short block in '62 for $250. As for whick car I would take, the '32 ia the only way to go.

 

Either one is cool with me.

Perhaps a bit of a dumb question here...Back when the movie came out,an older cat I know said that Milner's coupe(my choice here) was a '31,not a '32. He pointed out the roof to decklid shape and a couple of other things that designated it as a '31. Don't call me a dumbphuck for asking,but is it a 31 or 32? Inquiring minds want to know...and thanks!

 

Had to go with the 32. I'd have to lift up the grill shell though.....sorry Graffiti purists.

 

The 55, i was infected by big blocks from a young age when the old man would take us out in his 427 4 speed '40 coupe.

Falfa was winning! Milner said it himself! The '55 for me.

The 32, but the radiator would be put at the right height.

 

Although i did like Milners coupe, Falfa's 55 is my choice.

Niether. The deuce was very poorly thrown together and the five five reminds me of a '70s car.

Aside from the fact that I don't like deuces or '55 chebbys, for my own personal form of transportation.

 

Milners coupe, not even close, just like the race on Paradise Rd.

 

This guy's got it! And funny that one of those "new Hurst Engine mounts" is still holding down the big block in my double nickel!
