    "short fuse" is kinda fun if you go with a bomb logo with a burning fuse... but "timebomb" is cool as hell too...

    who cares if some cars have had the name before... this is traditional hot rodding, and we arent going to be reinventing the wheel here... besides, the one Denise mentioned is a pre-war custom, (and a damn fine one too) not a race car.

    Rusty, you forgot, death to the shocker dotd 09. :)

    While I want a unique name, to me this car is a blast from the past. Time Bomb seems to fit. I did do a search for dragsters named Time Bomb and all I got was a rather ugly modern funny car. I'm sure I'll keep waffleing on the name for a while and who knows, it might just stay "the digger".

    It's not a really big bomb , just a small one, like a fire cracker,
    a Kansas fire cracker,
    or maybe just "Kansas Kracker"?


    (My Brother in Law usta race a ski boat called the "Redneck Mutha" so I don't shy away from the weird names...)

    Root, I think that would be John Weibe. I haven't looked him up but rumor has it he still lives around Newton KS.
