You know the dash insert came from you, right?

Isn't that the insert I sold you?

Yeah, irony with that insert in a diesel.

Yeah, I'm actually using yours as it was a little nicer. But Sawsall started the ball rolling in that direction. So, thanks to both of you.:)

Stock they put out about 100 Hp and like 275 of torque, but are easily turned up. I don't mind you putting that other link up, it's just weird. I feel like George Costanza, "worlds are colliding".

  7. One of my customers did a transplant like that in a full size Chevy pickup, 4 speed without overdrive, 3.08 gear, tall rear tires.. Gets 28 mpg sometimes. From the p***enger seat, it feels torquey, but not as much as a Dodge 6 cyl ***mins.
Good job! I think it's neat.
What did you run into on front suspension to hold up the weight, or is it about equal to a BBC?

  8. Matt, bring that ****er up to Sea Cruise, the 2nd week of October at Beachfront Park...I don't want p[ics, and i don't want a video... I want a RIDE in it !!!!!

Those little 4BT's get ridiculous mileage.

The 6.5, is a problematic turd, is large, and makes **** for power. I'd probably steer away from that and/or a 6.2 ......

Sweet, I snoop around on the 4BT site once in a while but somehow missed your build.

I'm still pondering one for my 71 GMC 3/4 ton. I'd do the same thing and pick one of the delivery rigs but then probably swap the 350 that is in the truck now and sell it to a local flea market entrepreneur.

Now I need to go back and spend more time checking that whole car out as there is a ton of neat stuff on it. Great job.

Put me in the "like it" column for sure. That car is super neat. I've heard of swapping these motors before. Could you tell me, is there alot of vibration and also how is the noise level?

Whoa how did I miss this!! You have the coolest tudor ever!! seriously... I have always thought a well put together diesel rod would be truely bad ***, and you did it! Those little 4bt's kick ***, my ol' man worked on a fleet of them in bread trucks way back when, all hooked up to 'glides. I'd love to build something wrapped around one of those lumps or a 12valve... Good luck on wrapping the loose ends up...

I think to when you get it finished you probably would have a good shot at a dare to be different feature in Hot Rod, or maybe a deal in Diesel Power...

    Anyways.. That's a totally kick *** sedan!!!
