Does anyone have any pictures to add with auxiliary / fog / additional round lights up front on these trucks?

I'm just curious what folks have used, or what was available back in the mid to late 1960's and early 70's.

    -W

update (10/11/2009) since the original question...

some information about the Unity lights for the antique vehicles:

    http://www.unityusa.com/

    Antique Vehicles

    They have the 5":

    or...

    ... or the 6" roadlight:

Both sizes come in the clear or the amber lens.

To the left on each link is a link to the 'road light brackets'.

    ----

question: I wonder which of those funky brackets would work best with our 60-66 trucks?

answer: The only brackets that are really suitable (imho) for trucks of our style are the 9929 or 02F type. I'm using the ball mounts shown on the right in the 9929 photo, bolted directly to the top rear flange of the bumper. The brackets on the left can be used to lift and rotate the position of the light. The B bracket is made for vehicles from the teens to the 40's. They clamp directly to the bumper brackets. On 40's cars a hole is cut in the splash pan and only the upper half shows from above.

a thread on stovebolt about these lights & others for our 60-66 trucks

    ----

Does anyone else have any additional information about round fog lights from the 1960's that look cool on our trucks?

If any of you have any information, please PM me or post it in here.

    Thanks.

    -W

I've had this '66 for 11 years but it became a stalled project. I rented out the storage space I had it in so it is now at my house. I hope to get it in the garage and get it road and HAMB worthy by Spring. 5"/6" drop, 350/350 combo, lots of NOS or rust free sheetmetal in the basement, PS, PB, disc brakes up front. I'd like to loose the Rallys but right now it is 5 lug up front and 6 lug in the back, Rallys are the only matching wheels I could find.

Hey, I have a very rare piece of 64-66 GMC Deluxe Cab stainless molding for the rightside door. Been saving it for years and can't find a mate. If you can prove you have the left side, it is yours for the shipping cost.

Can anyone help me on this? Does anyone what the paint code or number is for the interior color on a '65? I need someone to make a batch for me for a door I acquired.

    Nice. Always loved the TT's.

FYI, there's a dude in Grants Pass that has a butt load of camel hump heads for 100 bucks a pair, if'n yer runnin a sbc. Just got my 327 back today from the rebuilder, with 462's that I got from him. Cheers.

Just for fun, here's a shot from 1962 at the Porterville airport in California. Restored WWI planes and a sweet panel being used as a camera platform. Note the 1956-62 plates on the panel.
