You need to get in touch with the Packard Museume in Ft Lauderdale. They have what you want on the floor !
This one, I think its a Buick, is a regular at shows in this area. These were taken at Hot Rod Arama a couple years ago, but I know I've seen it since. I love old wreckers, and I'm looking for a chariot style wrecker body for my '54 GMC 1-ton.
Here's one on the local CL i've been drooling over http://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/cto/997006090.html
ThrottleJockey has a pretty spiffy lookin' Diamond T up for grabs in the classifieds. No hoist but I assume it was a wrecker? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=314112&highlight=diamond
owning an old wrecker is #1 on my long term list of vehicles I would like to own. I've got a few prospects at the moment.
I'm looking for an Ashton wrecker bed like this my for my 1950 F6. They sure make life easier around the yard.
