Event Coverage Pics of local Hot Rod show.

A local Hot Rod and Car show was held today here in Grants P***, Or. The show was open to just about any car or hot rod so alot of them were not HAMB friendly, however alot of them were. This one, although not HAMB material, was interesting none the less. Later after I was leaving I heard it fire up, had a cool sound to it.














About half way there, more are coming.

Talked to the owner of this one about the missing head light lense. Apparently the roads in California are pretty rough. He lost it driving on one of them.

It was. This is the second year for the show, so it will become an annual event. Much better this year than last. Won't post the name of the event because it isn't HAMB friendly, but they benefit different things. This year was for Parkinson's Disease.

I don't know what the guy was thinking. Some kind of bizarre induction and exhaust system. Ruined the car in my opinion.

Thanks for the info. Has gone thru some changes over time. If it is the same car, it now has a different license plate, Can't imagine two of these however, must be the same car.

 

Well...I liked the black Merc and the 32 3w. The rest looked like a "Rebel Rods" gathering! Should have known by the first pic with the spider-web exhaust! WTF!

Oh yeah...That Woody model for $30. That was my friends car. I came up with the personalized plate "LOG RIDE". It was actually a burgandy color. I have two of them in my closet. That shot on the cover of the box was taken at Eldorado Park in Lakewood,Ca.(if anybody cares)

 

WTF? looks like the idiots and ****tards have invaded the PNW.

I know you'se guys have a great "traditional" vibe up there. did you just walk by all the cool cars and shoot the ****? ... not that all here are ****..but that is the general "look" for a majority of these shots.

the "rocketeer" from a decade ago.... damn... way more than a decade. saw it first at Andys Picnic in Vallejo in bare metal. not sure what the fake patina is all about
