No one really knows that i bought a deuce vicky, well i actually just bought it last night, it was a bone, basically a frame firewall and 1/2 of a vicky body, but on the way home from purchasing it i was driving along and i see a deer dart out into the road, so i hit the brakes, he does a 90 degree turn and head back the way i was going parellel to me, but when he gets past the bed of my truck he jumps in the air to cross the road and nails the cowl on the 32 vicky, flys thru the air and nails the quarter panel and comes to a dead (litterally) stop in between the vicky and the trailor fenders, i couldnt believe it, the 2 good parts of the vicky body are now smashed! oh well, thats the way it goes!

heres a pic, one before and one after, they dont look to much different but they are!

We all know Murph's law.... " whatever can go wrong will."
....but there is also Wilson's law...." Murphy was an optomist"

Thats a real shame...sorry for your heartache there.

As John said,,nobody got hurt,,except maybe your feelings.

That was a hard it,,looks like the body moved several inches from the firewall.HRP

Nice, the deer couldnt even die on the road, but on your trailer instead...you take it and get it processed? ****s about the panels....you are on a mission.

...must've been his car at one time and he didn't want you to have it!
really, that's tuff luck, but could've been lots worse,...was towing a 55 Bel Air sedan home on a trailer and 4 deer run out in front of us, 2 made it across, hit two with the front of the truck, ..only took out the grille and lights,...I'm glad they didn't do like yours did!
...hope to see ya at the Hunnert...

    that's a crazy story.

  22. That ****s man. I bought a deuce grille a couple a days ago and ironically it came off because he hit a deer with the car. But the grille really isn't mangled that bad and its original I'm pretty sure. But sorry about your luck man and gotgas is right.

You should have p***ed the buck! I couldn't believe it when you called after just leaving and said the Vicky hit a deer. We'll just have to find another one. Brian

    I killed bambi!

it was a small doe, i was kinda in shock and i dont really have the means so i just put her to rest in the ditch and kept going, i was late getting home, didnt know who to call, so i just took off, not the correct thing to do but thats what i did!

I mainly did buy it for the frame and firewall, and had planned to save up parts to build the vicky but who knows now. ill dismantle it carefully and stick all the parts away and see what pops up.

now its a "deer born deuce", as coined by Bull.

Im not mad at all either, its kinda a funny story.
