Welcome, I'm originally from England, been over here for 5 years now. I Love Texas and wouldn't move back home now. Other then the hurricanes and mosquito's its a great place to be. I use to vacation out here a lot so the move was quite easy. I've just applied for my full citizanship rather then being a permanent resident. So here for the long haul.

I was there in the early to mid '90s and it seemed like the '50s.... really enjoyed the time there. Great food and yeah the beer. I liked the fact of each town having a brewery (real LOCAL flavor) The company leased me a house and car so it was very comfortable and the people GREAT! And the history............ I never got any farther North than Stavanger though.

  17. Next time you have too come up too North Norway, its really beatiful, and its light 24/7 in the summer.
Some picture from the island were I live.

My wife and kids were over here last summer, we actually checked out the house, the last day in Tx, before we left for home.

But she hasn't been over , since we bought the house , she will come over the 4 of Oct and we will go together at "The day of the drags" , we are looking forward to it:)

  21. I bought me a 59 Ranchero a couple of days ago , I am going to make it look like a shop truck, it was a garage in town called Johnson Garage ,that also had a Gulf station, so that is what its going too be.

Some pics of Kenneths rod and the Rancero.
