Damn, that was a hard hit! How badly was the other driver injured? Not that it really matters. I see quite a bit of blood in the pics and that drivers compartment is really squished! I can't believe you weren't hurt even worse!!! If you don't make him pay he'll probably walk with a slap on the wrist. I wish you the best, it's going to be a nightmare for you till this is straightened out

Sorry to hear of your accident. Be glad you were driving a van, my brother wasn't and has been a quadraplegic for 30 years now.

The van doesn't look to good at all . You were very lucky that you were driving the van instead of your hot rods !
As for the f**kin' drunk , make sure you get a good lawyer and sue him for everything he has then tie his bare *** to the bumper of your car and drive down a gravel road at 65 mph and see how he likes it ! There is no reason to drive drunk ! NONE !!!!!!!!!!!! I hate those FU**ERS !

They could have damn well sued the **** out of that judge and had him kicked off the bench.Judges are not invincable,they have rules to follow just like we do.I had to reply to this because a few years ago a local judge here got his *** busted for pulling a little stunt like that.
I hope you recover fully and you are VERY lucky you are still here with us.

I need to obtain the Police report, at last I heard the other driver was in the ER, that was Saturday Night.I already contacted an Attorney...

 

Just make sure it's not a clear pickle jar, sheww, don't think I would want to look at those every day, just knowing they were there would be fine.

That was one hell of a hit you took. I am always happy to hear of a fellow rodder surviving a bad accident like you just had and you are most lucky to be here with us to share the information and pictures. I hope you get healed fast and back on the road to a full recovery.

 

Glad you're still a**** the living, I've seen people killed in vehicles that were not torn up as bad as your van is. I've had an intense dislike of drunk drivers since one rear ended my wife and daughters down at Stafford VA in 1990, guy was running 70 MPH, put the left rear wheel of my wife's '85 Buick Century under the front seat. Miraculously they walked away from it, but my wife has not had a day without severe pain in almost 20 years.

 

Glad you are OK.....too bad about having to cancel shows........tough to get..even tougher to have to cancel. Hope that your guitar ********* hand is Ok.....
