I have a 1960 F100.....is it possible to swap with any of the grills in the 57-60 F100 series...without any modifying? I know the 57 is not possible due to the headlights. Any help or experience would be appreciated.
I know '58 headlight bezels DO NOT fit in a '59 grill... I know '59 hoods, look...ummm...a little funky on a '58, because the grill is flat across the top, but the hood has indents. Anyone else have anything to add?
Yeah, I should've been more clear in my response. You can mix and match all you want, but the grille/bezels have to be the same year, and for the most part the swaps are usually hood/grill same year on to a different year pickup if that makes sense. Gotta love those good lookin' 57-60's though. The one in your avatar looks nice. -Chris
"good-lookin"??? You don't hear that one too often...But, it looks a LOT better the faster I make it go! Ehhh...hell, actuall, I LIKE the way they look...I'm kind of sick-in-the-head, though, I guess others might say... I'll also add: I AM now running a 'glass '59 hood on it, funky or not, because thats the only one they offer! It's a little weird, but acceptable...its a race-only vehicle, so...
U.S.body...they also have front fenders, and I think rears ( stepside ) As well as one pc. tilt front ends in 'glass...
