  2. I've seen both of these in person... and the coupe is flawless.

I've also seen the "collection"... there's enough to build a dozen of 'em

Someday I'll have something you'll need from me... and one of those coupes will be miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!!! :D

BTW... I just purchased the roof pieces to convert my 28/9 Sport Coupe into a Special Coupe a few weeks ago... just happened to be on ebay and there they were... sooooooooooooolong Sport Coupe hello COUPE! :)

hey harrison...the 28-29 have narrow frames like the t .in the early days rodders wanted the wide fram 32-34. now whats left of the 28-29 are showing up. its realy that simple. steel bodys are at a premium these days. thats why my son restored a 27 t . just call me pop.

    Hi folks,
I guess I'm a late member, just joined, one foot in the grave, the other on a banana peel. My dream car from the early '50s, was an AV8 on a 1932 frame. I now have a back yard built, flathead powered AV8, roadster that, even at my unfortunate? 6"2" frame is a fairly comforty short ride.
    Take care,
    Jay Y.

The Brits and the Scandinavians too! The Swedes and the Danes seem to have imported lots of 28-29 Coupes over the years. They have excellent taste, I would say.

Not rare or hard to find at all. There's hundreds of them, virtually original and unmolested, for sale in the 14k to 20k range. However; Almost all of the derelict ones have been Hot'rodded. The good ones are too high dollar for us Hotrodders. I know of about twenty, original condition, most have been restored once. Know of a 29 Sport Coupe that's in great original running condition, been painted once since new, owner don't want to sell it really, but when I pressed him he said he would take 14k. That's still too much to invest for tearing it up to make a Hotrod...................

I think It's funny how in the last 3 years '28-'29 coupes and sedans (from what I've seen) have grown in popularity once again. I sold my '31 sedan and got a '29 coupe in early 2007... At the time it sure seemed everyone had a '30-'31 sedan or coupe and I wanted an A but not my '31 sedan. I wanted a coupe, and I actually liked '30-'31s more, but my uncle had this '29. Funny how things change in the hot rod world. Some days I wish I had my sedan back....no I don't.

Sport coupe -- Soft top that doesn't fold down.

For argument purposes it is the three window coupe. :)

Having a '28-'29 coupe, whats an easy way to tell the two years apart. Heard the '28 cowl is really a T but don't know if thats right. Plus would'nt know a '27 cowl anyways!!!

not much difference in the 28-29 coupes'. roadsters were easy cause they didnt have external door handles in 28. the only difference on the coupes that i am aware of is the headlight glass, but i dont remember what the differences were....maybe horizontal lines on the 28???

There's two standing on their rear bumpers, chained to the wall in my brother in laws dads garage in nw indiana. they have been in there since the sixties. He paid like $300 a piece and drove them home. Not fore sale I can't even talk him out of one and I've known him since I was in grade school. When we finish my sons truck we are going to stop by there and I will take some pictures and post.
