Anyone able to id these two? Pic sent from a friend that happened across them in a barn near me... thankfully he's not into old cars, so he just took a pic and is getting me contact info of the owner. What's the coupe with the split windshield? Anyone?
some cool stuff in there. one looks like a pontiac 3 window coupe 1934 35 maybe need more pics to tell neat old banna seat bike,, cool stuff...
35-36 GM, probably both are the same, LaSalle or Caddy is a good guess since they look long, no silver streak on the coupe so not Pontiac. You really don't need that junk, but if you tell me where they are I'd be happy to go clean out their barn for them, no charge.
The Coupe is likely a 36 Cad, LaSalle, or Olds, Buick. The Convertible looks like it has a flat windshield which would make it a 34 Cad or LaSalle. The doors should be suicide style. All I can say is G-O-L-D!
Any guesses as to their value,****uming average condition for being stored inside? Anyone want to guess as to what the owner's asking price will be if - sorry, WHEN I finally get in there?
That convertible, depending on condition of the wood structure and completeness(engine is missing or nearby, no hood, etc) could be worth 20 Gs or more. Alot depends on the Series when it comes to Caddies. The coupe, remembering to check the condition of the wood structure, probably $5-$7 Gs, again depending on what it really is and what Series if a Caddy.
The grille on the windshield is worthless, because it's only a piece of the lower grille from a '41-'46 Chevy truck. Now, if you find the cab that goes with the grille, I'd be veeeeerrrrrrrryyyyyy interested!
with all the junk in there i bet the front end etc... is laying around in there somewhere. im with pasadena here on the prices. -- id love to pull that ragtop out, pressure wash, vacum & hang it back together, maybe a new or nice set of tires. man youd have something REALLY GOOD & desireable sitting there then!!
Howdy-coupe looks 35-36 GM. The convertible may be first year 1932 Terraplane cabriolet roadster, suicide doors and solid windshield posts with unique crease. Whatever make of vehicles, looks like the type of barn/garage we all like to find. Would any old racers or fans of the Sioux City airport/dragstrip 1960-70 era, please contact me regarding any info on the Trobaugh 1932 Ford coupe, dark blue, or later dark maroon, that raced at that track? I am the current owner of it, i was interested in maybe putting the car back to its race days look, can't find out any info on car, some have said there are pics of it on strip, at a local bar in Sioux City-name?-its like chasing a ghost. I am beginning to think car had no history, only local hot rod, but maybe someone out there remembers this car. Any foggy memories would be appreciated, anyone actually know Trobaugh? Thank you for any help-in advance.Bruce
Here's a couple photos of a '36 Cad Coupe and a '32 Essex. Looks like the Cad is correctly ID'd, but there is too much junk in front oj the windshield posts to posativley ID the other Classic.
