Congrats on the purchase man, when I saw it on CL I was hoping that someone would eventually get it back on the road instead of getting parted.

jonahboo, you have a beautiful car! I am loving every bit of that boat :D

Here is my '68 Impala Wagon and my '66 Plymouth Belvedere Wagon. Still have the Impala, 238,000 miles (120,000 with me behind the wheel), TPI, 700r4, ice cold a/c. The shot on the brown grass was part of a set that made it in Hot Rod Magazine December 2001! Sold the Belvedere. Only had $2,000 in it with a rebuilt motor, paint, and flames!

What do you think of building a phantom wagon. something that was never made? Like a 65 Ford Mustang Wagon, or 48 Plymouth coupe and turing it into a wagon...I've been thinking of taking a 1949 Chrysler Club coupe and moving the roof line back to make it into a wagon : but doing it something like the GM tin woodies...all steel with painted on wood grain. And leave the flathead six in, with dual carbs.

The Mustang has been done, The roof from a Falcon wagon will fit with very little modification. Looks pretty cool, too.

This one was done moving the stock roof back, doesn't look as good.

This is a prototype from Ford of an "estate wagon"

I'm saving parts for a "phantom" wagon. I was going to do it to my current 57 Ford 2 Door Ranch Wagon, but decided to build it the way I did(now it is in the HAMB classifieds). I want to take a 57 2 door wagon and use the woody trim from a 57 Country Squire 4 door wagon to make a 2 door woody. I parted out a complete Country Squire, so all I need is a decent 2 door Ranch Wagon. I think the phantom idea is cool.

Painted my 64 Nova today. I'm likin' the hot rod black look on it. It will look even better when I get a few other things done to it.:D

I have a very stripped 55 ford wagon that I have been playing with the idea of grafting the rear section on a 53 tudor,I've always had a weakness for tudor wagons but they are so hard to find, before I started on my 47 zephyr sedan I was seriously thing about getting a 65 Pontiac boniville Safari going that I had lying around, but the wife like the lines of the lincoln, but I always keep my eyes open for a 53-55 ford tudor wagon.

  22. Haven't posted in a looooong time, but this followed me home today: first thing I did was remove the skirts. Plans are a flaked roof, astro supremes or torq thrusts and pinner whites. Eventually a small block transplant.

This is a real 2 door. 15 years ago I had a 2 door converted from a four door in college: what comes around goes around!

Here is my baby 65 falcon wagon futura. My dad had it since i was 1 and I got it from him at 15. Has a 302 with a c-4, 8 inch rear end and 2 1/2" flowmasters. Fast and fun. The pics is old but works.

Over here in NZ, we have a group of us called the Wagoneers, pretty small, but its all good fun. Wagoneering, or "wagon time" is the art of driving slow and having an awesome time. We are having the Wag nats early next year.

This new years, we are meeting somewhere on the 26th, places into a hat and what ever area gets pulled out, we are wagoning there to have some fun. All about sleeping in the back. And enjoy a casual drink.
