Is this Helene Delangle, AKA Helle Nice who drove Bugattis?

 

That's Kay Petre, the 4'10" lady drove a huge 10.5 litre V12 Delage, Invicta's, Bugatti's and Rileys. She was a regular at all the big British races and a Grand Prix racer in France and South Africa. She died at 91 in 1994.

 

All of that plus she was pretty easy on the eyes.-Jim

The one on the far left is a '41 Dodge WC15. Only used Stateside, never sent to the ETO or PTO. The second one is an '43 International M-24. Only produced for the Marine Corps, and only for the PTO.

I was being sarcastic, but really, imagine how many drivers are still alive due to only two things. The roll bar, and the seat belt.

Dog, do you know where this pic was taken? This Pontiac used to be local. I saw it sometime in the 60's or early 70's at a car show.

They were the coolest cars on Base!
You will have to excuse te wheels on the 38, this was built in the 50s originaly and re-built in the 70s, hasnt changed since.
