I dont think it is the case to go all warmed up for an opinion on a car guys, although this is what happens everyday......
Well, personally i like the plum 36 anyway, being it jesse's or whoever else.
Chop is rad, not traditional by any means, but i'd be more than happy
to own that car and keep it!

Did anyone else catch the Studemino as a photochop job?It would be an amazing car to actually make though.

Depends on the day, we take turns this one just happened to be my day.

Its FUCKING UGLY, seriously ugly no matter who owns it. Sphynx has the only answer short of finding a new turret and starting again.
Customs should flow, that has all the grace of a box truck.

Not sure what your talking about with the license, I can drive everything from a 4cly to my old 427 Ford powered coupe on the same license I have always had.
    Doc.

I know us Pommes aren't supposed to agree with anything the Aussies say, but I'm with Doc on this one - the chop doesn't flow, and the top looks broken above the B-pillar.

On the other hand, Chrisp's work on that bronze '35/36 is superb.

Well,I met a woman who was vacationing here from the merry old land of Oz,and we got to talking about cars(Having a '53 Plymouth and a '64 Cadillac and a '32 Ford RPU parked in front of you bar will cause that),and she was the one telling me about the whole licensing thing and the inspections that classic cars have to go through.By the way, could you please send more Australian women, preferably between early 20's to mid 30's over here, they're gorgeous with amazing accents.Good lord I would have married her on the spot.

  12. Thank god I'm self-employed, or I probibly would have been fired for spending the last 2 hours reading this thread.

Got tons of ideas and must have saved at least 15 pictures to use as inspiration for the '54 Ford I'll be doing over the winter.

Thanks for all who posted the killer pics.

Panning to do something like this, only in a copper, gold or burnt orange color. Photo Shop anyone??????

This car done by Gary Howard is bar none my favorite custom of all time. When I first seen this thing in TRJ I was floored. Proof that the Designers got it right and that more often then not, Hardtops can remain unchopped. Love that car.

I saw your ride this morning on another HAMB post. Very kool sled, I ran the same
grill in my 50 Merc. I still have it but I use it for garage art now....Your Ford deserves
to be considered one of the Hottest, I'd say more like the Koolest.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Yeah I know... wow... but it does make me appreciate the cool ones more... I'm hoping one day I have one that I feel would deserve to be in here. Maybe when I can take this...

You know, you're right. I couldn't agree with you more. And if I was a betting man, I'd bet quite a few of my fellow New Englanders would agree....

I'm glad you're from the west coast, too.

  28. Ah, I could hug you for that! That's pretty much what I think too. But, I figured if I said it, I'd get beat up by all the suck-ups:p:D. Seems, I'm sometimes NOT entitled to an opinion. The proportions on that car are real bad, and the chop looks dead even, front to back, keeping it from having some sort of "flow" towards the deck area. I always wondered if that was the reason a complete view was not included in almost 30 pics in the premier issue of Ol Skool Rodz?
