Pompadour, I use my Nikon D40, hard to beat. My shots on my blog are right out of the camera, no photoshop, not that, that matters. Your shots from Alter Boys are NUTS. Was on the calendar but I can only travel so much, Saturday heading to the Jalopy Showdown Drags. Best, Slim

Ya I can't afford a real deal camera I have been shooting for about 4 months or so and I have alot to learn. I shoot with a $199 fujifilm s1000fd which everyone seems to hate but it works well for me...No photoshop either I think I would mess up the picts if I did...thanks for the support

It was a great time, reject lot and all. That black chevy had one of the nicest paint jobs/bodywork Ive seen, and it was sprayed in a garage.

REALLY Appreciate all the great pics! (The other threads & uploads also Thanks to all).
As late as thursday I was planning on going but then I got roped into a last minute priority job and had to abort the plans. (a slave to the almighty dollar). Having these pics to drool over is a bit of consolation. Maybe Next Year!

Carl Carpenter ran A 5 window coupe way back when and it was last seen in R.I. in the early 70. have you talk to any body about that?

I don't know about that, but he did own A speed shop and he's A member of the ty rods car club. he's got lots of history this area. As for the coupe body I got to see it again at another show and it's not the same body from the 400jr. Jared

Fiberglass Engineering was a speed shop in Cochituate Ma. I bought a Racer Brown cam from Carl in 58 for my olds engine.
