What a great time. After a VERY wet drive in my T-bucket on Friday night, and a cool, foggy start to Saturday, the weather turned out perfect. Thanks to Larry, Beaver Bob, and everyone else who makes this happen. Now for some pics...

Thanks man. What a great set of pictures. I haven't been racing at the Beaver since the early 90's but it looks like it hasn't changed all that much. It's a great little track. Nice job on the pics!

 

A great coverage and I am surprised buy the variety of cars. I like every one of them and there all keepers. It was great that the sun finally came out and the event was on!

 

Thanks for the photos. It killed me to not be able to bring Pinocchio out, but some days life and priorities seem to get in the way.

Man, I was going to say, if the weather stayed how it was in those first pics, that would have been a ****y day. That weather is terrible. I'm glad I live in the south where that never happens.

I'm pretty sure Littleman took that one, he was running low 10's all day if I remember correctly, the Triumph was running low 13's.

Great shots. I'll add to it later tonight if you don't mind. Just got home and have to fix my G***er first. Broke the rear end yesterday. The event was AWESOME!!!!!

 

great show...lots of super cars..Unfortunately, I cracked my radiator during the test runs at the beginning of the day..but was able to limp it home. That Littleman truck was silly fast. Was able to meet some new guys too. Great time.

 

Great day.....Don really set the place off with the Willy's.

 

Larry and Beaver Springs Bob did a great job of putting on a killer event. Rained Friday night like we were supposed to be building an ARK...... it ****ed being in a tent....even the guys in the airstreams were complaining about how much and how loud the rain was.
Saturday was great. No one could get enough of Moyer standing his willys on the bumper. Lots of cool stuff at the swap meet area. Ended up quiet on Saturday night except for one guy ( who should remain nameless......right Spike ?)who had roman candles in his rear
( looked that way)and was riding a bike down the return road with a trail of sparkles. The rubber band fight was fun. Saturday night was cold as hell.

HRHD the pics are great. When you pulled in driving the bucket, I actually felt bad for you. We seem to have lost site of each other as I never saw you or your honey again after we talked. Sleeping in the station wagon had to be a better idea than the way we did it.

Had fun yesterday, put some rain-x on the windshield, zip-tied EZ P*** to the front bumper, put a spare in the trunk and left my house in NY 5am to head down there. My new drivetrain behaves very well, I was cruising at 85 all the way down, getting 20mpg..

anyone got pics of my buick going down the track?

 

OUTSTANDING! I didn't want to bring "IZZY" out in the rain..........(actually, I had to work Saturday & Sunday) Glad that the weather cleared up and it looks like one hell of a good time.

Yeah, we got so busy Saturday running around and looking at all the cool stuff, we never did get to talk to you again. We ended up leaving on Saturday afternoon rather than staying another night, I had been on the road since Thursday in the bucket and was ready to get home. Next time we're definitely going to stay until Sunday. Hopefully we'll run into you again sometime.
