I am looking at moving to a small acreage in Leander, Texas and need to construct a substantial garage/workshop to house my cars and projects. Can anyone recommend a reliable company or builder in this area to handle all phases of the construction?

  2. did you try garage journal?

The company in AZ, CO, SD or FL isn't going to be the same one you have to deal with, so I'd suggest hopping in the truck/car and driving around and checking out the LOCAL buildings and who did them. This way, you will get feedback that matters for your climate and the builders who will be doing the work.

Be sure to have your Green Card with you at all times and check the legality of all workers on your property and the contractor's insurance coverage so YOU won't be the one responsible if there is a injury during construction.

Phil, Send me an email, tell me what type of construction, and size of structure you are considering. Although I'm semi retired, I've got 45 years construction experience in the Leander area, possibly I can be of assistance. Michael

Tell everyone that you are looking for someone in the North Austin Area. I don't know anyone, wish I could help.

Please dont use CenTex. What kind of shop are you planning on building. I know in Leander theres a building supply store, They would be your best bet. I'll see if I can find any other info out for you.
