Great show so far, as usual. A few of my favorites: Acrochicken - Awesome shots. Can I get a hi-res file of that '66 GTO? My wife loves those... 57 Corvette Bob - Love the silver '32! The silver border really sets it off too. ubermustang - Pencil work is my first love, and I dig the "sketchyness" of the Merc.

KScooter, thank you....appreciate it. Really like your entry this week.... not only the outstanding ride, but the way you place your backgrounds. Backgrounds are something I struggle with ....any rules of thumb as to size, placement etc? Any help would be appreciated.

There are all kinds of rules for.... everything. It has been my experience, the truly memorable photos/images are the ones that have broken the "Rules".

My rule is: Trust your eye.

Work with it 'til it looks right to you. Some won't like it but others will.

 

Thank you for your help ...... great to get input from talented artist.

Hey, Friday.....Yeah!

Had a customer comment that a car we did on a design was "wrong" because it was angled more than the boring reference picture...this one is for him!
