I made probably 15 runs or more... had the time of my life!

Here's the run where I gave Rocky a ride... I'll post more tomorrow.

My technique for the slippery track was to bring the rpm up to 4,000... let the clutch out, roll out about 75 feet then punch it. If you listen, you can hear it on this run.

Thanks to all whom picked up an event shirt.....It was a pleasure to make those for all whom stopped by. We figured we would print them on site old school style and it turned out great.....I hope this event becomes a staple in the central valley....Rocky...you started it now....and you wont be able to stop !!!!!!!!!!!!

Lancer, thanks for the great pic of the bike. I was shooting video, and never got a still of Jack on the track. All that has been said of the event is true. Rocky and the volunteers did an outstanding job, hard to believe it was a first time effort. We had a blast, and hope it becomes an annual event.

Sam, your '55 was a kick in the ass to watch...


What an awesome day...met a bunch of new folks and got to watch these rides get flogged...hopes this works out to be at least an annual event.


Hats off to Rocky and all of the event staff for a friendly atmosphere and a great event...and telling those two 300Z's where to go...

 

Wow! Thanks Skip!! Thanks to all who are posting pics of the event. You really captured the flavor of the event. I now have the two best pics ever of Jack on the bike. "Rocky's field of dreams" is right on. It reminded me of Pomona Sunday afternoons in 1959. Beyond cool.

And Sam,your 55 is a right on the money classic grass roots race car. Do not change one thing about it. Your "roll it on" passes were some of my favorites!
